Rather than just boxes, I think houses should be visually interesting.  Building a house provides the opportunity to add to the aesthetics of the urban or physical environment.

My name is John Edmonds, and I live in Christchurch, New Zealand.  I have a B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics.  My career has principally been in IT, and in later years in construction project management.  However, I have always had an interest in architecture, and have designed each of my own four homes over the last 35 years.

 

In retirement I've pursued that interest further, and developed a number of house designs, which I'm making available via this website, should others be interested in picking any of them up for their own homes.  I hope you find them interesting.
