Designs Catalog
The catalog of existing house designs can be viewed under the 'Design' tab, or by scrolling down on the 'Home' page.
This provides 3D Views, Floor Layouts (including room sizes) and a download-able Brochure.
Plans
Plans and a CAD model for any of the existing house designs can be purchased under the 'Plans' tab. The plans consist of A3 sheets in pdf format. Thumbnails of these can be viewed before purchase.
The CAD Models are in dwg format.
These Plans & Models are the subject of Copyright, and for the sole exclusive use of the client, and the clients agents.
Minor Modifications
Minor modifications to the existing catalog plans, requested by a client, will be carried out without charge. These are modifications taking no more than three days.
Significant Modifications
In the case of requested modifications estimated to take more than three days, a quote will be provided.
Where the quoted price is US$1,000 or more, a deposit of 20% will be payable before the commencement of work, with the balance payable on completion.
Payment for work quoted at less than US$1,000 will be due on completion.
Custom Designs
A new design (plans and model) requested by a client will be developed in two stages.
Stage 1
This stage consists of the development of Concept Plans, containing 3D views and floor layouts similar to those shown under the 'Design' tab for the existing catalog houses.
The client needs to outline principal requirements, such as for example: the overall style of the house, key features and/or shapes for the house, materials, an indication of total floor area, the numbers of bedrooms and vehicles to be garaged, property dimensions if available. Reference to elements of the catalog designs could also be included.
A quote will be provided for the Concept Plans along with a Design Brief capturing the client requirements. Costs can be expected to be in the range of US $1,500 - $2,500. A deposit of 20% will be required before the commencement of work. The balance is payable on completion of the Concept Plans.
Stage 2
If the client decides to proceed after completion of the Concept Plans, then plans will be developed as described in the Rider and other notes under the 'Plans' tab. They will contain dimensioned floor plans, elevations, cross sections, roof layouts, and preliminary steelwork design. They will not contain some detail (as described in the 'Not Included' section under the 'Plans' tab), and therefore will NOT BE FULL CONSTRUCTION PLANS.
A quote will be provided for preparation of the Plans. As with catalog plans, these will consist of A3 hardcopy in pdf format, and a CAD model in dwg format. These Plans will be the subject of Copyright, and for the sole exclusive use of the client, and the clients agents.
Costs for this stage can be expected to be in the range of US $1,500 - $3,000. A deposit of 20% will be required before the commencement of work. The balance payable on completion of the Plans.
